    Superb

    Jane's hospitality was excellent.

Some disharmony (public) between Taz and Jane) - Jane appeared to do most of the work.

Great value, owners couldn't be more helpful

    Could do with modernising

    Exceptional

We received a very warm welcome from the owners who had changed our room to one on the ground floor before our arrival due to a slight mobility problem that one of us had. Our room was very clean with comfortable beds and a nice en-suite. There is a very pleasant dining room and we were given an excellent breakfast each day. Jane, one of the owners also provided us with lots of local information about where to visit and how to get there on public transport or by car. Overall I would recomend this hotel, in a fine Edwardian house, to anyone who wants comfort with very pleasant surroundings and easy access to the main roads around Kings Lynn.

    Good

Both owners were delightful and tried very and to make one feel welcome and to accommodate extra needs

The hotel and grounds are tired and very cluttered altho' the owners have started to upgrade the rooms. Must have been grand at one time. We had no complaints at all.

A beautifully restored old building, The rooms are large and well appointed, the room was quiet. The staff were friendly and very helpful. I would be happy to stay again.

We enjoyed our stay at The Grange Hotel; which is a period building of character. The owners and staff were friendly, very helpful and provided an efficient service. Last but not least, the food was delicious.

    Fabulous

The welcome from the manager, Tas, and his wife, Jane, nothing was too much trouble, nice personal touches. Made sure we were able to have dinner late that evening, despite it being a Sunday and no one else eating. Our room was lovely, but needed quite a lot doing to it, which Tas explained will happen as the budget permits. Everything about this hotel was good, but could have been so much better with some investment and re-thinking. The bar, for example, is arranged like a lounge in a residential care home! There is no separate dining room, just an area of the breakfast room

Tas and Jane are a delightful couple whose company we thoroughly enjoyed. They are rather laid back for hotel managers - the ironing board at the top of the stairs wasn't good, nor was the long dead house plant in the ladies toilet. These are minor observations, but so easily rectified. This is the hardest review I have ever written on Booked.net as I want to be fair to them, whilst not painting too rosy a picture as there is much still to be done with this hotel

Friendly staff who went out of their way to make our stay excellent, very clean rooms, good location

The owners made you feel very welcome from the moment you walked in the door. Lovely old place with lots of character. My bed was very comfortable and the room was a good size. The room I had was very clean but tired, after talking to the owners they said they are slowly upgrading all the rooms which was evident in places. I would definately go back and would recommend to friends.

I enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and the friendliness of the staff. My room was spacious and comfortable and there were lots of small touches showing the care the hotel took of its guests. It was one of my most enjoyable experiences staying in any hotel.

    Superb

Jayne & Taz and all of their staff gave us a very warm and friendly welcome. The hotel was an impressive period building with many original internal features. The en-suite room was very spacious, clean and cosy. The lovely food was freshly cooked and well presented. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Grange. A big Thank You to All.
